Editing PBs in Recomposer is easy. Each Exercise can be manually edited by Coaches or by Clients who have permission simply by clicking on the PB.

why editing pbs is important

Weights suggested on every Set of an Exercise in a Recomposer program are based on the PB (personal best) of the Exercise. If for some reason, the PB is set much higher than the User’s true strength (for example, if a Set is mistakenly saved with incorrect Weight and Reps), then all of the suggested Weights will be too heavy to achieve the goal Reps.

By editing PBs to a value that accurately reflects the User’s true, current maximum strength, the Weights suggested on the Sets will adjust accordingly.

Also, on exercises where no PB has been set, a Coach can set the starting PB based on their knowledge of the Client, thereby ensuring the Weights are set appropriately.

how to edit a pb

Simply click or tap on the PB value and it will become editable. Enter a new value and press the ‘tick’ button.
